In his poster, James offers new insights on the frequency, age, sex biases, and breakpoint locations of NUP98 translocations in a cohort of 291 adult AML cases.

The research identified a higher-than-expected frequency of NUP98 translocations, predominantly affecting younger adults, and discovered a novel fusion partner, NUP98::EMX1, along with rare co-mutations.

This work enhances the clinical understanding of NUP98 translocations in adult AML and suggests new therapeutic avenues.
