In her poster, Maki presnts her research on integrating genetic and morphological data to create more precise classifications of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS).
By analyzing gene expression and mutations in MDS patients, the research identified distinct clusters associated with specific differentiation potentials and prognostic significance.
This novel approach aims to improve patient stratification and treatment outcomes, particularly for those with high-risk mutations and increased blasts.
