In his poster, Priyansh presents how he employs Trajectory Inference (TI) Analysis to model cell development in the bone marrow microenvironment, using “Pseudotime” to track gene expression changes.

By introducing “Pathway-Metagenes,” which capture pathway activity over time, the research provides a more nuanced understanding of cellular function transitions compared to traditional gene lists.

Validated with CD34+ hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs), this method highlights significant functional shifts, such as the decrease in WNT-Signaling pathway activity crucial for HSC maintenance, offering new insights for therapeutic strategies in myelodysplastic syndromes.
