Coordinated at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute by Marcus Buschbeck, INTERCEPT-MDS brings together 10 European public and private expert host institutions to create a European network of experts in leukaemia, epigenetics and single cell genomics.

In addition, we count with the support of 9 partner organizations that will provide state-of-the-art complementary training and a novel educational program in an environment of excellence, innovation and multidisciplinarity.

Created in 2010, the Josep Carreras Institute mission is to investigate the epidemiological, preventive, clinical, translation and basic aspects of leukaemia and other hematologic malignancies through innovation to cure them.

Established in 1904, GSH is a public scientific institute performing internationally competitive basic research in the field of tumour biology with a particular focus on the tumour microenvironment.
